Dr. Tayeb Hussain DPM

With over 20 years of experience in podiatric medicine, Dr. Ty Hussain’s motto of treatment has always been ‘patient first’. He continually gives Evanston Podiatric Surgeons and Mag Mile Foot and Ankle Institute, compassionate care to its patients and clear understanding of the needs of their active lifestyles.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science at Loyola University of Chicago and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the William Scholl College Podiatric Medicine. His training was accomplished at Loyola University Medical Center and Hines VA hospital where he sharpened skills to pioneer procedures that enhance patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Dr. Hussain has special interest in re-inventing the cosmetic aspects of current bunion correction. Due to the vast number of procedures he has performed, he can give patients the ability to differentiate between an arthritic joint versus a true bunion deformity. He has presented a multitude of lectures on educating the public and increasing awareness of this variation.

His passion is for patients to understand the medical issue at hand through conversation, discussion, and detailed explanation. He believes in treatments that have options for the patient and to thoroughly understand them, so they can make sound decisions that affect their lifestyle.

Treatment options and outcomes are best accomplished when the patient is given the opportunity to understand their issue thoroughly, and sincerely with the synchrony of a team approach.
